Book Tour: Call to Arms, Nations Fall by Randy Lindsay

Joining the military had seemed like the right thing to do, but when war breaks out in Europe Robert wonders if he hasn’t made the biggest mistake of his life. The Russian juggernaut grinds its way toward Italy, the country Robert has grown to love. As one of a handful of American soldiers in the area, he must find a way to help the ragged remnants of NATO’s forces to prevent any more European nations from falling.

While back home, the rest of the Williams family struggles to protect themselves in the face of an impending civil war. The very fabric of society continues to unravel, threatening the destruction of the Constitution and the American way of life.

As Vice President, Calvin McCord continues to defy both sides of the political divide in order to find a solution to the war in Europe, the ravaging of the United States, and an espionage ring within the White House.

Character Casting:

There are four protagonists in this story. They are:

Robert Williams
– he is 21 and has recently joined the Army Corp of Engineers in order to pursue his goal of becoming an engineer. The person I envision playing this character is Dylan O’Brien.

John Williams – is Robert’s father and has been given the responsibility of heading up security in Camp Valliant where the Saints have gathered in anticipation of the disasters preceding the Second Coming. The person I would really enjoy watching play this character in the movie version of the story is John Schneider.

Although, I would be just as happy to see Karl Urban play the role.

Sarah Williams – is Robert’s sister. When the rest of the family moves to Camp Valiant, she decides to stay behind. The person I envision playing this character is Abigail Breslin.

Calvin McCord – is the Vice-President of the United States. He served in the military for many years and I picture him as a tough, no-nonsense sort of guy. In my mind, the best actor to play this role is Brian Cox.

Gilbert Feldstein – serves in the military with Robert. I had a lot of fun writing him and he will be a main character later in the series. I picture Joseph Gordon-Levitt playing this role.

Sierra Weintraub – is Robert’s love interest. As the romance between the two of them progresses during the series, she will become a main character. This is the only character I actually cast as I was writing the book. I think Alexandria Daddario would be perfect as Sierra.
